Most of passengers’ questions in July were about public transport schedules
From the total of 21,785, 20,009 were information inquiries; the rest included proposals, complaints and commendations from customers. A majority of the inquiries were about routes and schedules, but mostly about schedules. Passengers also asked when repair works on tram routes No. 3 and 6 are due to be finished, how to get back their belongings forgotten in public transport etc. In the rainy days of July passengers most often were looking for their lost umbrellas, handbags and children’s belongings /toys.
Breakdown of inquiries received by the information centre in July:
In July the information centre of "Rīgas satiksme" received 59 different commendations, most of them were addressed to public transport drivers. For example, "Rīgas satiksme" profile in "twitter" contains the following praise: "An educated, polite, sociable driver of trolleybus No. 27 which left terminal in Ābolu Street at 06:43 pm".
